If you truely love someone, you'll forgive the unforgivable.

I don't necessarily think so. I truly love my boyfriend, but I wouldn't forgive him for killing my mom. Even in the case of unconditional love, could you still love your brother if he killed your best friend?

When I read this, I didn't think of a situation like that...I thought of a spouse cheeting on their husband and him taking her back and loving her (and "her" son) just the same.

If you truly love someone, you would never put them in the position where they would have to do so.

i understand where your coming from here, our tolerance and forgiveness is rar greater, when we love unconditionally, but yes there are limitations. We all as human beings have an understanding of that, eg murder rape etc etc
